Yoga Basic Course
This short term course with in a duration of 25 hours is intended to enable the student to practise Yoga and have a basic theoretical and practical knowledge of Yogic Science and Philosophy. Practice of basic Yogasanas, Pranayamas, Bandhas, Mudras, Yoganidra and Meditation are included in this course.
Yoga and Massage Therapy Course
This course is a combination of advanced yoga practice, yoga therapy and massage therapy. As regular practice of Yogasanas and Pranayamas are essential for good health, the massage also plays a vital role in this respect. Massage helps improving the functioning of veins and arteries and make them healthy. The muscles and joints are flexed and strengthened. General health is improved prolonging the life.
Simultaneous application of Yogasanas and massage therapy can give tremendous relief to various ailments like rheumatism, spinal problems, spondilosis, paralysis, asthma, headache and muscular problems. Duration : 60 hours
Yoga T.T.C. / Advanced Yoga Course
This course intents to study various aspects and types of yoga. A solid foundation in ‘Ashtangayoga’ of Pathanjali incorporated with ancient and modern approach of Yoga practice and therapy is imparted. The learner will be enabled to practise and teach yoga and introduce yoga as a therapy for various ailments.
Yoga philosophy, Yoga as the life science, ‘Ashtanga Yoga’ (eight limps) of Pathanjali, the ‘Panchkoshavikasa’ (Five fold development), various body systems and functions, the Chakras, the Pranas, Asanas, Pranayamas, Bandhas, Kriyas, Yoganidra and Meditation are taught in detail.
Thorough theoretical and practical knowledge of the subjects is imparted to the learner so that he can practise himself and teach others too. Special attention is given to the methodology of teaching yoga.Duration : 50 hours
Manthra Yoga Course
‘Mananat thrayathe ithi manthra’. It is the definition of mantra in Sanskrit. Means - that which uplift by constant repeatation is Manthra.
Manthra in Sanskrit is a combination of various Alphabets - ‘Aksharas’. The sacred utterance of Sanskrit manthras provide the reciter with the power to attain his goals and lift him to the higher level of consciousness.
An alpha activity in the brain can be experienced during manthra chanting. Practice of manthras can increase concentration, memory and logical thinking. Negative impressions such as fear, anger, jealousy can be removed from subconscious mind. It can soothen the nervous system, relax muscles, reduce stress and it’s negative effects. Constant and concentrated chanting of manthras leads us to the blissful state and total liberation.
Duration of the course is 25 hours.
